My Story
MY WHY???? WHY did I start selling Scentsy? Why do I love it so much? Why am I sticking with it through the ups and downs of a business? Everyone is asking for my WHY. What is my WHY? I never really got into my why. Because it changes, it is the reason what drives me.
It starts with me meeting my husband in fort Riley KS. I am a German girl who met, which I thought was the love of my life, in Germany and got stationed in Fort Riley Kansas. After a while I realized that this was not it so for lots of reasons I separated and worked 3 jobs to support myself and my two gorgeous girls. About 2 month after I separated I met my true love. Believe it or not but the minute I saw him I knew he was it. And here we are 21 years later. 2 ½ yrs of dating and 7 month short of being married for 19yrs to a US ARMY Soldier. Which now he is Retired from 22 yrs of service. We have our 2 amazing girls Jennifer (24) and Nicole (22) who are grown and our son Michael (17) who is still with us. I have the most amazing Father in Law who is well known in his town and surrounding areas. Well being retired as a police officer and owning his own investigation and Security office. I know totally off track but this is important to my why. I moved to my husband’s hometown 2 ½ years ago. A few month before my husband took leave and joined us in our new home. I started getting the house ready and then hunting for jobs. So by than I had 5 jobs. Little jobs here and there but still. So you know being a female our hunger for things is never really satisfied. So last year I decided to quit some of my jobs and concentrate one Scentsy. OMG I enjoy it so much. I still worked for my father in laws company and cleaned homes which was only twice a month, So not bad for a little cash in the pocket. And I am telling you I still haven’t really found my why. Yes I wanted a gym downstairs which I have now. I want to be able to renovate my home, go on vacation with my husband. All these things we really want. We want to be spoiled and succeed in Life.
But again what is really driving me to continue this journey with Scentsy. Besides the little things here and there we want for ourselves? I know what it is and always been. YOU!!
